You can send messages based on the date they signed up (Date Added) by using the filter under Advanced on the Message Sending page. Tick the Advanced box on the Send Message page to reveal the Advanced sending options. Under Date Added, enter the date you wish to target in the field for Beginning Date. If you wish to send to members who were added within a range of dates, enter both Beginning and Ending dates.
Remember if you’ve used other filters, such as Categories or the State/province and Country filter, as well as the Date Added filter, your email will only be sent to the email addresses that fit the parameters of the other filters AND were added between the dates you specify.
If you want to send an email based on a number of days relative to the Date Added (not based on specific calendar dates), you’ll want to set up and send a recurring message. This way you can choose a number of days before, after, or on the Date Added for the email to send. And the email will send every day to whoever fits the criteria that day. This is different from targeting a group based on a specific calendar date or specific range of calendar dates.
