We do not permit attachments on outgoing messages for several reasons.
- an attached file could contain a virus, spyware, or other type of malicious content
- in many cases, messages with attachments have the attachments stripped away
- the bandwidth used to send the attachment can be significant
- attaching a file to a message does not increase the delivery rate
- there is no way to track the number of recipients who actually look at the file
We have better solutions for you. Upload the audio/video file to your server and include a link to the file in your message. Our service lets you track who clicked on those links and when the link was used so that you can actually get a real-time report of who is opening your message and accessing your audio/video file. This method gives you much more valuable information than simply sending the attachment and letting the chips fall where they may.
You will know precisely where the chips are falling.
