Event-Based messages allow you to send a message to subscribers based on an event such as joining a list, having a birthday, or having an anniversary. You can have the message sent prior to, on, or following the event.

A common use would be to send a subscriber a coupon a few days before their birthday that would bring them into your business or back to your website for a discount. You could also send new subscribers a link for them to review messages sent prior to their joining your list.

Once scheduled, messages will be sent on your schedule, without further action needed from you.

Campaign Reporting - Click Tracking Enhancement

Campaign Reporting now breaks out clicks into two columns. The first is unique clicks - this number is the number of subscribers that have clicked on at least one link. The second is gross clicks for the campaign. The percentage shown in the unique column is calculated using the number sent and is the click-through rate.

On the Gross Clicks report, you can sort on the clicks column to see the most-often-clicked link.

On the Unique Clicks report, you can sort on the clicks column to see the subscriber that has clicked the largest number of times.

If it has been used, we show you the campaigns that used it and give you a preview link. Should you delete an image that has been used in a campaign, it will cause that image to be unavailable for the messages that used it, and cloning the message will include a link to an image that no longer exists. We recommend that you NOT delete an image if it was used in a campaign within the past 30 days.

Categories can now be marked as private. This allows you to selectively display categories for subscribers to choose from.

If, for example, your categories are newsletter topics, but you also have an internal category, you would not want public subscribers joining your internal category. To protect private categories, they can only be assigned from the admin pages.
